Sudbury, Ontario – February 21, 2006 – Seymour Exploration Corp. (TSX-V: SEZ) announced today that Thomas Obradovich and Ronald Arnold have been appointed to the Company’s board of directors.

“We are pleased to be able to bring two strong, independent directors like Tom and Ron onto our board” stated Richard Murphy, President and CEO of Seymour, “As we continue to develop the Company by building on our assets at Lynn Lake, we will have to make important decisions for maximizing shareholder value. We look forward to drawing on both the experience and expertise of our new directors in that process.”

Concurrently with the appointment of Mr. Obradovich and Mr. Arnold, the Board of Directors accepted the resignations of David “Tiger” Williams and Martin St. Pierre.

“The Company is grateful to both Tiger and Martin for what they have done for the Company. I can say, without question, that we would not be where we are today without their contributions and, on behalf of the Board, I offer my sincere thanks.”

Seymour Exploration Corp. holds a 100% interest in property encompassing the former Lynn Lake nickel mine, where the Company has delineated a resource and recently initiated the first exploration program at Lynn Lake in 30 years.
