Independent Nickel Receives Conditional Approval to
List on Toronto Stock Exchange
Sudbury, Ontario – July 20, 2007 – Independent Nickel Corp. (TSX-V:
INI) (the “Company”) announced today that it has received the
conditional approval of the Toronto Stock Exchange (the “TSX”) for the
common shares of the Company to be listed for trading on the TSX.
The TSX listing is conditional on the Company providing various final
listing application documents. Trading of the Company’s shares will
commence following a review of this documentation to the satisfaction of
the TSX. Concurrently with the Company’s common shares beginning to
trade on the TSX, the Company’s shares will cease to be traded on the
TSX Venture Exchange. The Company’s stock symbol, INI, will remain
unchanged.
“Graduation to the TSX in an important milestone for the Company and
will help to further increase its exposure within the institutional
investment community.” stated Independent Nickel Corp. President and
CEO, Richard Murphy.
The Company is in the midst of a 20,000 metre exploration program at
its wholly owned Lynn Lake Nickel property. In addition, the Company is
progressing with the Lynn Lake prefeasibility study.
Independent Nickel owns 100% of the Lynn Lake Nickel Mine, located in
Lynn Lake, Manitoba. The Company also owns a Net Smelter Return Royalty
on Victory Nickel Inc.’s Minago Nickel Property, also located in
Northern Manitoba. The NSR pays the Company 3% when nickel prices exceed
US$6/lb.
